The Hotel show was fabulous and excellent these kinds shows should more be organized and arranged to get a better feed back and response of a customer and more travel competition should be held so that visitors and travelers should get the better results.

in this show, you give the exact reason why, I personally never vote un such election. And why I hate the tendency to call any winner of voting "best of" just because he collected the most votes.
I could better live with the statement if eg registered users of a community were asked for their preference.
In this case, as you said, suddenly hundreds of people reacted on the voting AFTER you informed the involved of the election. Then they started their "voting network".
Only thing this proofs is that the winner won the "get the most votes" contest.

I do not and will not judge the winners merrits, but call the winner of such votings what they are : winner of the contest. Nothing more, nothing less
