Probably because their direct competition (Travelweekly, Travolution) is a step more advanced in embracing social media with different blogs, the travel media TTG (Travel Trade Gazette) has finally driven their journalists to blog about the travel industry.
I was happy to discover that Martin Ferguson has just started his own blog called Confessions of Travel Hack.
but you can also enjoy Journeys Through Travel written by Matt Parsons, TTG Business blog written by Adam Coulter (editor at TTG Business) and This Business of Travel written by Paul Revel (from TTG Business).
They've all adopted the blogging platform Wordpress, one of the best tool available today. (personally I am still loyal to Typepad even though they've changed recently their technology and I found the platform running a bit slow on my PC).
So welcome guys to this new adventure. I am sure you will enjoy this.
By the way, it reminds me that I am going to revisit the idea of selecting the 20 blogs I like and do a follow up text interview after what I have done in 2007. A lot of change has happened since then. Some blogs have died and others have seen the light. So it's time for a little update.

Hello TTG Bloggers. We'll be watching closely. :-)

Good news, I think - TTG is a competitor but Kev (Travolution) and I (Travel Weekly) both believe in blogging, and this can only have a positive effect on the content and profile of the travel blogosphere. Hopefully it'll also increase the understanding of blogs among industry types.

Thanks for the welcome. Technically we are ttgbusiness bloggers (we don't want the weekly rag taking our credit!). I'm still not 100% sure what this is all about, but I'm keen to learn. See you in the Blogosphere. Martin

Hi bloggers from TW & Travolution, & thanks for the welcome. Nice blogsites BTW, I'm looking'n'learning... Love the world's first 0* hotel, remind me not to review that for ttgluxury...

Thanks for welcome Guillaume... WordPress fits the bill perfectly, but I can't stand the new interface. Will just have to get use to it.
And I wouldn't listen to those TTG Business characters (or read their blogs for that matter) ;-)
