The world first zero star hotel
According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, Switzerland will open soon the first zero star hotel called "Null Stern Hotel". The hotel has no private bathrooms, no TV and no daylight. Looks like a bunker converted into dorms. Quite a lot of pictures here.
Thanks to Alex from TourCMS for the tip.

That's horrible! Now we wait for the Favela-Inn in Sao Paulo, the Rooftop-Lodge in Cairo and the Boutique-Tent in Ruanda?

Though Internet is full of good or bad blogs of hotels and the sites where they appear claims they are unbiased and posted by real travelers. But, the fact is that they may not be real and posted by hoteliers to boost business. Even if they are real, many times, it is possible that they may not be providing actual picture. I have recently stumbled upon this website http://www.hotelly.com/Search/HomePage.aspx?aid=6 which actually features video reviews of hotels across the world. These, I believe, are more trustworthy because When you view video reviews, you watch that is real and you trust. Travelers would shoot what they see; even hoteliers would avoid uploading unreal videos.

This is a really good resource for blogger. It answers a number of questions I have had on my mind and it is very nicely written.
