The price of pie = high
Dunne Group
Hotels, based in Limerick,is one of the first
to suffer the recent economic distress. The entire chain of five hotels has
been petitioned to the High Court for examiner ship.
And they’re not alone…!
The new
Watermarque Boutique Hotel & Spa, Cahersiveen, Co Kerry, The Wooden House
Lodge Hotel and Holiday Complex, Co Wexford, Racket Hall Country House Hotel,
Co Tipperary and the La Touche Hotel, Co Wicklow are all currently for sale.
It seems
that competition for a slice of accommodation pie is too high and many hotels
are crumbling.

I am afraid this is not only affecting Ireland but places all around the world. I am working for a hotel in Prague and unfortunately the decrease of foreign travel due to economic problems in the U.S. and the U.K. is affecting business.
