Results from the Best Travel Website in UK...

Results of the latest poll by The Website of the Year 2006 are available here.

In the Travel category, Expedia.co.uk was voted the most popular travel website (in terms of votes) and Cheapflights.co.uk the Best travel website (in terms of average score on content, navigation and design).

I would have to disagree with the category "Most popular Blog" which is spaces.msn.com. This is a blogging platform...not a blog. I hope for next year, there will be a proper category for individual blogs from UK. In the meantime, a recent study (found on the FT website) conducted by Eldelman and Technorati (the seach engine for blogs) is ranking Gaping Void the most influential blog in UK (rank #139 in the world).
