Guillaume - merci beaucoup for the post link! I've been very late in sending you a graphic (je m'excuse).

Although it's been a while since I've commented on your articles...I'm still reading aften and very much enjoying the content. Keep up the great work.

Paul, re: BedJump - many of our our most loyal fans are from the hotel trade believe it or not. As a former senior hotel manager for a major luxury brand, I can appreciate that some hoteliers might balk at the thought of bed jumping happening in their own back-yard...although most managers worry about much worse goings-on than a few jumps on the bed!

Hotel mattresses are super-tested under duress, and every single brand of (new) hotel mattress can certainly take much more "punishment" than what we feature on the BedJump site.

Regardless of what hotel managers and viewers might think about the site, we believe that we are celebrating the hotel industry, educating non-traditional markets about the hotels that we feature, and generally trying to associate fun with a traditionally uber-conservative industry.

I am constantly amazed at the variety of locations and hotel brands that we get images from!

Chris

A quirky idea, but one that I am sure has hoteliers the world over feeling rather annoyed that it could be going on in THEIR hotel.
