Have fun in a virtual hotel !

The virtual world of Habbo Hotel is clearly quite entertaining. This is to my knowledge the first hotel virtual game available on the Internet. This is not a business management hotel game but much more a place where people meet, drink, sleep, eat in a hotel called Habbo Hotel. When you “check in” meaning when you enter in the game for the first time, you need to create your character “an Habbo” and start to walk around the hotel. You can design your room, manage parties or invite people for dinner. This new gaming environment is targeted for the Teens community but the site is claiming that adults do play as well. This game has been franchised in 16 countries in the world including France, Netherlands, and UK. The game is played by approximately 4.4 millions users on average per month. 40 million Habbo characters have been created since the birth of the game in 2001. The company behind it is Sulake Corporation, a Finish group which has been ranked in 2005 the 8^th fastest growing technology in Europe by Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500.

First of all i would like to congratulate you for your site. I think your articles are really good.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Minas Liapakis and i am E-Marketing Supervisor in Maris Hotels in Crete Greece.

I would like to tell you about a game that we runned the previous year. Called Guess & Win. The concept of the game was:
We showed four different photos of our hotels, locations, services and the users should have typed the name of the hotel which reffered to the photos. The results were really good. The number of the users that played it were more than 1000. you can see the game in www.maris.gr/game.
i thought you might find it interested.
